After conducting extensive market research, we knew site speed was paramount for our new Reviews widget. Over 45% of shoppers expect your eCommerce site to load within two seconds, and sometimes even less. If your site takes five seconds to load, the bounce rate increases to 38%.
We removed some of the unused CSS and JavaScript coding for a more lightweight widget that has been enhanced for better performance. This leaner update delivers lightning-fast load times and a seamless browsing experience for site visitors, ensuring that the page’s most essential content is prioritized.
We also updated our widget to feature no-code customization. This makes it easy for you to change the colors, fonts, and overall look of your on-site reviews as you see fit.
Google and ADA compliance was also top of mind when creating our new Reviews widget. Our widget adheres to Google’s Ranking Best Practices; therefore, all of your reviews will be crawlable and optimized for search. And, working closely with our accessibility partner, Essential Accessibility, we’ve ensured that our widget adheres to ADA guidelines and is inclusive for all.
