Requirements:
Front-end tech stack:
- Experience with a ReactJS ecosystem – (Redux, React-router, React hooks, styled-components, etc.)
- Demonstrable knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 and ReactJS
Back-end tech stack:
- Understanding of PHP in REST applications as well for async/background processing
- Cross service communication with scheduled and stream data pipelines
- Understanding of OOP, MVC and essential Design Patterns
- Experience with PHP frameworks like CakePHP, Symfony, Laravel
- MySQL experience, NoSQL (ElasticSearch and/or Redis) is a plus
- Docker, Docker-compose, Kubernetes, AWS-ECS and other container orchestration tools
- CI/CD experience, GitHub actions, or similar
It’s nice to have (but not mandatory):
- Understanding of AWS (ECS, S3, Lambda, SQS)
- Understanding of Kafka
- Experience building APIs and API specifications (OpenAPI, Swagger)
- End to end testing – Cypress or similar
- Experience in building integrations with external APIs
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and maintain existing ones for our app on Shopify
- Be part of the team that builds the messaging connectivite for our Yotpo SMS application
- Work with different stakeholders (DevOps, Back end team, Marketing team)
